Worst Customer Serivce and doesn't honor Warranty


BR111 does not warranty claims. They have sent out an independent wood inspector who's results inform BR111 there was and is defective and they have yet to honor there warranty. They have given me the run around and wasted so much of my time and informed me that I should speak with there lawyer. If you have had the same experience where they are not warranting your wood floor please e mail me. Ricardo Moraes is a nightmare to deal with and for a president of a company to talk the way he does to anyone shows what type of business partner he is and what type of values he has. From my experience with this company all they care about is making money and not about the customer.

I too purchased the BR-111 in exotic amendiom wood and have had nothing but problems. The finish is holding up okay,only a few wripples here and there, but it dings and scratchs so easily that I can't even enjoy the product. I have many friends who have natural oak floors and have no problem, yet the amendiom was suposed to be superior as its rating were off the charts good. I am a prisioner in my own home and at this point wish I would have selected another product. Getting ready to call the manufacturer, but it looks like they do not stand behind their product so I will update you with my experience. In the meantime, do not purchase this product because you will not be able to live in your home without scratches everywhere. Very disappointed with this product and we certainly spend a good amount of money as we wanted exotic woods that were built to last....

I have had the same issue with this company. They aren't honoring my warranty either. I see you've dealt with Ricardo as well. I have recently started searching the same issue online and have found several other sites with different users complaining of the same or similar issue. I think they are changing the process in which they produce there wood and in fact might be moving there product line to China. Not sure how you can have Brazilian exotic wood being milled in China but these days you never know. Assuming they aren't honoring your warranty for the same reason they aren't warranting mine could be a sign of the company having financial problems but either way if your floor is defective and you've got proof you should take them to court. After speaking with Ricardo I can understand why people wouldn't want to do business with him. I am currently still trying to resolve this with them but Ricardo doesn't return phone calls or e mails. This in my opinion shows the companies worth and like in your review what they really care about which is $$$. I will also start a review here. I will also be posting on other forums and contacting builders in the Tri State area who I work with on a commercial level. I say boycott this product. The internet is very powerful and so is word of mouth. Good luck to you in your case.
